Saltline and FreePlayer join forces - announce new range of VST plug-ins!

FreePlayer and Saltline Audio Solutions announce that they are teaming up to launch a new range of VST plug-ins specifically designed for FreePlayer. Also, several of Saltline's existing plug-ins will be bundled with FreePlayer when it ships.

The first fruit of this collaboration will be a family of ‘SOAP’ pitch-bend plug-ins (derived from Saltline's existing Son of a Pitch - or SOAP for short - hence the name).

The first of these - 'Hotel SOAP' - the tremolo arm for the 21st century – is the first pitch-bend plug-in specifically designed for the guitarist to use dynamically by fingertip control. Aimed initially for control with the FreePlayer Joystick, Hotel SOAP can be controlled by any combination of FreePlayer's playable elements - Joystick/Touchpad, Rotation motion control, Gesture recognition, Light sensor control or the Button array. It features independent control of bends up (as far as +1 octave), and down (-1 octave), and modeling of real tremolo arm characteristics such as the ‘dead zone’ and the ‘reflex’ (the effect of the springs on string tension).

HotelSOAP, along with a range of FreePlayer Sounds showcasing its capabilities, will be available as a free download from the FreePlayer SoundStore.
